Ikkat Cotton Hand Embroidered Saree With Blouse Piece

This Saree is beautifully embroidered using Node embroidery style. This style of embroidery is practised by the Raau Node community of the Kutch region of Gujarat. The Raau Node world is full of flowers of various sizes and colours, all featured around a central mirror and the embroidery is so dense that it has an embossed feel to it. The irreverent use of colours, stitches, mirrors lends a rustic charm to the embroidery.
